How to become a Member of DLA

The All-India Dravidian Linguistic Association of India is a learned body, registered under the Travancore-Cochin Societies Registration Act. Membership is open to all adult persons, irrespective of nationality.

There are two categories of membership, viz., Life, Annual, and Institutional.

Life membership
For Indian
Lump-sum Rs.5000.00
Instalment Rs.1020.00 x 5 = Rs.5100.00
For foreigners
US$ equivalant to Rs.5000.00

Payment by Demand Draft or other instrument cashable at Thiruvananthapuram.

Life membership entitles the free supply of IJDL and DLA News, and a concession of half the listed price on most of the DLA publications. All members are entitled to concessions in the Registration fees payable for attending meetings, conferences, etc. organized by DLA. All members are entitled to the free use of the Library. There is no separate membership for the International School of Dravidian Linguistics. Members of the DLA have access to the facilities of the School, subject to some restrictions, and at the discretion of the Hon. Director.
